#OLD PHONE RINGTONE IOS 7 HOW TO#
Who's paranoid now?!!! If someone could tell me what it is and how to stop it, it would probably keep me from tossing my phone over a bridge one of these days, not to mention save my husband's sanity as he is getting pretty tired of hearing about how much I don't like it. Or the best case scenario, Will has leapt out of Netflix and is trying hard to contact us. I have looked in Settings>Sounds, but can't see it. This is my first thought every time, and that is WITHOUT any THC. I have upgraded my iPhone 5 to iOS 7, and don't like the new 'Alarm Clock' ring tone. It sounds like the Russian hackers are about to blow us up. It happens several times a week on each phone. I've tried turning off all notifications in settings. Up at the very top of the list of ringtones available youll see. I also can't find anything that it correlates to as far as incoming mail/messages/notifications. When syncing is done, on your iPhone go to Settings -> Sounds -> Ringtone. It can happen while it's plugged in or just in my pocket. It is synthesized melodies, not the original ringtones. Sometimes it happens in the middle of the night, sometimes the middle of the day. On this page you can listen ringtones from category 'iPhone Ringtones ', melodies that sound like real Apple iPhone cell phone ringtones. It's one long, six short, "Booong, bip bip bip bip bip bip". Any ideas? Anyone else heard of this?īoth mine and my husband's iPhone 7's have started to make a sound like a sonar binging/echoing. My wife's phone is set to almost the same settings as mine, but hers doesn't do it. I even tapped through every sound the phone offers, and none of them sound like this 'newscast' noise. It did it at breakfast, and I looked, no emails, no texts, no notifications, no meetings, no nothing. I turned off Amber and Government alerts (I know how these sound anyway, it's not them) It sounds like the intro to an old-school newscast. My phone, just over the last 2 months, has been making a. So I thought I'd tap the pros here before having to give in and wipe. I also have my work email on it, so that'd be a little bit of a hassle too. I've tried looking online, but can't find what to google that will make sense. I know I could wipe the phone, but I'm thinking if I go through that hassle, and restore it, it might restore this issue.
